Abha White Portland cement
White Portland cement is a type of cement manufactured similarly to regular Portland cement, but it contains low levels of iron and manganese oxides, which allow it to achieve a bright white color. It is made from raw materials with very low amounts of iron oxide (less than 0.3% of the clinker mass) and magnesium oxide, which are the elements responsible for the gray color in regular cement. The cement is produced at very high firing temperatures as an alternative to iron, which acts as a catalyst in the clinker formation process.
Uses of Abha White Portland cement:
- White cement is used for installing upper ceilings, road and street pavements, marble tiles, and ceramic tiles.
- It is used as a replacement for white paint, lime, or other bleaching materials.
- White cement is used as wall putty to fill uneven wall surfaces before applying paint.
White Portland cement is a type of cement characterized by its bright white color and is used in decorative and artistic works such as façade finishing. It is known for its high strength and resistance to weather conditions. It is manufactured with low iron oxides to provide a pure white color.
