Rolled Steel Sheets and Plates
Rolled steel sheets and plates are a type of steel manufactured through a rolling process, either hot or cold. Hot-rolled steel sheets are made by rolling steel at very high temperatures. Steel is produced by passing it through rollers at temperatures exceeding 1700 degrees, resulting in a higher carbon content. Cold-rolled steel sheets are produced after the hot rolling process, where the sheets are gradually cooled and then passed through rollers again to precisely reduce their thickness and increase their hardness.
