Product description

Fire resistant armoured power cable (CU/MICA/XLPE/SWA/LSHF). Produced by Alfanar Cables Company. Armored with single layer of galvanized steel wires (SWA) to give it mechanical strength to protect it from external pressures that fall on the cable. Insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) which provides a unique combination of strength, flexibility and reliability making them suitable for a diverse range of applications. It can withstand high temperatures up to 90°C for extended periods without compromising performance. The cable also withstands harsh environmental conditions, including moisture, corrosion and chemicals, making it ideal for outdoor use. Chloride-free, making it environmentally friendly. Also, it is sheathed with an outer layer of a low smoke halogen-free compound (LSHF), minimizes smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire, therefore, it is suitable for use in fixed installations, in applications where maintenance of power supply during a fire is required for a defined period of time such as for essential safety circuits, fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems, etc., in areas where smoke and acid gas evolution could pose a hazard to personnel or sensitive equipment in high-rise buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, subways, etc. Available in various shapes and sizes in highest quality and best prices to suit different applications and needs.
