THHN/THWN electrical American building wire, stranded copper (CU/PVC/NYLON), manufactured by Asharqiyah Cables Company. Insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and jacketed with nylon for added protection against abrasion and scratches during conduit pulling. It also offers good resistance to oil, gasoline, and chemicals. It is characterized by its high resistance to heat and water, making it appropriate for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90˚C or wet locations up to 75°C. THHN/THWN building wires are used in general applications for providing power and lighting in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
