THHN/THWN electrical american building wire, stranded copper. manufactured by Red Sea Cables Company according to American specifications (UL 83). Insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and jacketed with nylon for added protection against abrasion and scratches during conduit pulling. It also offers good resistance to oil, gasoline, and chemicals. It is also characterized by its high resistance to heat and water, where It is appropriate for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 105˚C or not to exceed 75°C in wet locations. THHN/THWN building wires are used in general applications for providing power and lighting in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
