Taif Portland Pozzolana Cement
Pozzolanic Portland Cement is a type of Portland cement produced by adding pozzolanic material to ordinary Portland cement. Pozzolana or pozzolans are particles that contain components which, when combined with lime and water, form compounds with binding properties.
Properties of Taif Portland Pozzolana Cement:
- Better resistance: Pozzolanic Portland cement offers better resistance to chemical attack, especially in areas with high
sulfate levels in water.
- Longer lifespan: This type of cement helps improve the sustainability of structures and reduces cracks that may develop
over time.
- Heat reduction: Due to the slow reaction between pozzolanic materials and other substances, it generates less heat
during curing, making it beneficial for large-scale projects.
Pozzolanic Portland Cement is made by combining Portland cement with pozzolanic materials, granting it high resistance to corrosion and harsh weather conditions. It is commonly used in large structural projects and reinforced concrete. Additionally, it improves durability and helps reduce carbon emissions.
